Science and Decision-making for a Complex World
I was hired as a lecturer to support Dr. Liz vanWormer in her 120-student section of the 600 student introductory Science and Decision-making course in Fall 2019. My role was to lead weekly recitation sessions, facilitate discussion during lecture, advise final projects, and grade assignments. Additionally, I assisted in developing course content under the guidance of course coordinator Dr. Jenny Dauer. This three credit course was mandatory for all students in the School of Natural Resources with the goal of developing baseline skills necessary to interpret and produce scientific literature within a structured decision-making framework.
